Hello everyone!

My name is Angie. I was born in Ukraine but moved to Canada when I was 5 years old. I grew up going to elementary school in Toronto, Canada. Then moved to New York for high school and university.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English in schools across Japan and Taiwan to kids aged 2 to 16. I also have experience tutoring English to adults.

My goal is to practice English with both kids and adults through conversational English in a no-pressure environment. My experience has surely taught me how precious that is!

We will have conversations centered around students' interests and needs, using various materials like videos and articles.

I also have experience preparing my students for various exams, including IELTS, CELPIP, and SATs.

A little about me:

Aside from teaching languages, I am a pottery artist🍶 and chef specializing in vegetarian Japanese cuisine🍙 Having my own cafe with all my pottery is my dream🌝

I love to travel and learn about different cultures! I have lived in Ukraine🇺🇦 Czechia🇨🇿 Canada🇨🇦 USA🇺🇸 Morocco🇲🇦 Taiwan🇹🇼 Japan🇯🇵 and Mexico🇲🇽

I love studying languages! I speak fluent English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Japanese. I'm learning Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic.

I love the ocean, I can swim all day long🌊

I also love hiking and camping🌲
