Hi!

My name is Susan and I’m from Edinburgh in Scotland. When I was 40, I went to university and obtained a BA in French and Spanish. Having been a language student myself, I completely understand the issues students can have especially with gaining confidence in speaking and improving pronunciation.


I am CELTA (GradeB) qualified teacher with 12 years of experience and I've had the pleasure of teaching in Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Spain, Guatemala and Japan.

I have taught all ages from 2 years old right up to students in their 80s. I have taught general English, Business English and have done a lot of Cambridge Exam preparation classes with a good success rate.


I believe in putting a lot of focus on pronunciation, widening vocabulary and raising grammar levels so students can see their progress and improvement rather than simply repeating what they already know.
