Hello all! My name is Joe, and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I'm an IDP IELTS certified tutor with plenty of expertise. I BELIEVE I have the ability to help ANY student improve all aspects of their English, and I BELIEVE I do it in a unique way. I love sports especially football, basketball, and tennis. I enjoy playing and talking about history, geography, and video games, especially Nintendo. Im a huge fan of game such as Mario and Zelda.

I have over 4 years of teaching experience where I have helped students with Grammar, Vocabulary, Proof reading, Speaking, Writing, IELTS Test Preperation, Job Interviews and more. In addition to this, I help those who are immigrating to Canada, by providing them with sound advice, answering questions, and sharing my experiences! Whether you want to sound more professional, or just have a fun, relaxing experience while talking about your favorite subjects, I'm here to help, and support you on your journey.

I have 4 years of teaching experience, and I am TESOL certified. In addition to this I have also acquired my IDP IELTS teaching certificates so I can help my students with all aspects of the English language. Each lesson starts with a brief introduction so I can learn about your needs, and come up with a plan on how I can help you unlock your true potential! Learning a new language can be fun, and that is why I strive to have lots of variety in my lessons. Most of the time we are doing different activities every 5-10 minutes to help improve your weaknesses!

Please note that for IELTS, the trial lesson is typically used for explaining the expectations of the test, and providing a plan and rescources that could be used for homework/further study. From there, I will assess your weaknesses and focus on improving them individually, until they become habits.
