Tutor BIO

Hi. I'm Justin. I am from a small city in Ontario, Canada and I am originally a computer programmer. I have many interests including studying languages, conversing with many different people from all over the world when possible, watching old movies and TV shows and comedies. I enjoy listening to music, particularly Spanish guitar and older music as well. I enjoy reading, cooking and hiking too.

I taught for 10 years as a volunteer English teacher in Canada 12 years of professional English in-person and on-line teaching in Japan and a year and 3 months online, to students of all ages ranging from 1 month to 75 years old. I am working towards getting a TESOL certificate and then my Master's Degree in Education. I am very experienced in teaching offline and online. I have taught English conversation on multiple levels, basic business English, EIKEN (special English test in Japan). I have also worked with students interested in upgrading their TOEIC scores. While teaching online lessons to my students, I learned how to use different online teaching skills and have obtained much more experience because of that opportunity.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you to increase and improve your abilities in English whether it is speaking, conversation, writing, grammar, whichever skill you feel the need to improve - I will do my best to assist you in learning or increasing your skills in English.
